FlagLoad is a small Windows application designed specifically for helping you look for music on MediaFire and Megaupload.

User interface

The GUI looks simple and comprises only a few configuration settings. There’s support for a multi-tabbed environment in order to perform different searches at the same time.All dedicated parameters are displayed in a single window so they are placed at your fingertips. A help manual is not included in the package but you don’t need one in order to decode the program’s features as they are highly intuitive.

Search capabilities

FlagLoad gives you the possibility to perform searches by artist and title or album. The results are displayed in the main window and you can view details about each item, such as filename, size and link.You may open and copy links, search on Yahoo! or Bing (or use both engines), specify the maximum number of results, select the preferred file extensions (ZIP, RAR, MP3, FLAC, WAV, WMA, MP4, M4A, AAC), as well as choose the websites where you want to perform searches on (MediaFire or Megaupload).The application needs several improvements in order to boost its functionality. We have tested it on Windows 8.1 Pro and encountered several crashes when trying to look for music.

All things considered, FlagLoad delivers a simplistic software solution for helping you search for your favorite songs without having to open your web browser. You can also download Portable FlagLoad in case you want to skip the installation steps. However, it hasn’t been updated for a while so it may cause compatibility issues on newer operating systems.
