Zip Unzip by Click is a straightforward piece of software designed specifically for helping you create ZIP archives and decompress the content of ZIP files on the fly.
Simple looks
The user interface was designed with an overall simplicity in mind which may come in handy especially for less experienced users. It looks like a help manual, as it embeds plenty of tips about how to configure the dedicated buttons.The main panel is divided into two main areas: the first one lets you unzip files, while the second empowers you to generate ZIP archives. Files can be added in the working environment using the built-in browse function, so you cannot make use of the drag-and-drop support.
Main features
Zip Unzip by Click gives you the possibility to unpack ZIP files by selecting the desired item and pressing on the “Unzip” button. By default, the tool automatically extracts the content of ZIP archives to the same location where the ZIP file is stored.When it comes to building up a new ZIP file, you are allowed to select the item or folder that you want compress. You cannot choose a saving directory, so the ZIP items are stored in the same folder as the source file.
What it lacks
On the downside, you cannot add or delete items from an existing archive, password-protect data, choose the compression algorithm (e.g. normal, high, low, ultra), create SFX archives, and open RAR, TAR, CAB, LHS, and 7Z files.
