Batch Compressor is a lightweight Windows application designed specifically for helping you compress all files from a user-defined folder to RAR archives. It makes use of the WinRAR compression algorithm.

You need to prepare the files that you want to compress in a user-defined directory.Directories can be imported in the working environment using the drag-and-drop support (you cannot browse for directories in your computer).You are given the freedom to pause or cancel the compression process, clear the working environment with a single click, and pick the compression algorithm (e.g. fast, normal, good, best).Batch Compressor reveals information about the progress of each task and status, and keeps a log with details about all your actions and possible errors.The application automatically processes the files included in a folder, saves the RAR archive to the same folder where the original items are stored, and deletes the source items.
