UPXcmd is a desktop software utility that lets you compress and decompress a wide range of files, namely DLL, EXE, SCR, AX, ACM, COM, SYS, OCX, BPL, DPL, SFX, APL and API with as little effort as possible.

Furthermore, you can choose what file types to be included or excluded. All of them are included by default.
Various compression modes
UPXcmd gives you the possibility to pick one of the compression levels, ranging from 1 (fastest with lower ratio) to 9 (slower with better ratio), as well as one of the 3 available modes, namely best (single pass conversion), brute (using 36 loops) or ultra brute (72 loops).More than that, you can extract the files that were already compressed with UPX, open the output folder or shut down your PC when the task is done, disable or enable windows transparency, and add command-line parameters.Additionally, you can enable or disable LZMA compression, strip overlays, force compression, compress to export section, as well as skip icons and resource compression.

During our evaluation, we have noticed that the utility carries compression and decompression tasks quickly and no errors showed up throughout the entire process. Thanks to the fact that it didn’t eat up a lot of CPU and memory, the overall performance of the computer was not affected.To sum it up, UPXcmd proves to be a fast and reliable tool that enables you to quickly run compression or decompression tasks.
