QITC is an Excel 97 spreadsheet that calculates the Annulized Income Installment Method (IRS Form 2210 Sched A1) current quarterly income tax installments as they come due. It supplies all the lines of the Form 2210, Schedule D, Schedule A and its line 28 limitation, AMT (Form 6251) and 1040 and all other forms to support use of Schedule A1, and calculates the Penalty for late payments. It also automatically computes the Educational Credits, Child Tax Credits, Student Loan Interest Deduction, taxable Social Security, Form 3800 and 8801, and TMT. It accomodates multiple businesses and salleries by taxpayer and spouse, computes their individual Self Employed Social Security and Health Insurance Deductions, all on an annualized basis and for a final 1040 Return. It selectively averages Tax Withholding, and instantly displays underpayments, overpayments and the required deposit for the current and all past quarters and the remaining tax due with the Return. It provides for 13th month accounting and displays the difference for each item, the resulting tax, deferred installment, and the interest value of the deferral and the savings versus the 'safe harbor' method of installment payments.
