Diamond Red Browser is a lightweight Windows application whose purpose is to help you browse on the Interned using a basic suite of web tools.

You can copy the browser on USB flash drives or other devices and run it on the target system by simply opening the executable file. Plus, you may run it without administrative privileges.

Simple GUI

The program offers support for a multi-tabbed environment. The tabs are stacked on the left side of the main panel in a vertical position.There are no buttons embedded within tabs for helping you create or delete tabs so you need to manually access the ‘File’ menu for performing these specific actions. This may slow down a little bit your browsing sessions.

Browsing capabilities

Diamond Red Browser gives you the possibility to go to the previous or next webpage, refresh the current webpage, stop the loading process, as well as change the homepage.The program does not show automatic suggestions when you type in a URL in the address bar so you need to manually enter the complete link or paste it from the clipboard. Although some features like history with accessed websites and bookmarks are included in the main window, they are not implemented and cannot be accessed.The web browser doesn’t come packed with advanced functions for helping you clear cookies and history, navigate on the Internet using private browsing sessions, work with a download manager, set the search engine, and synchronize account data across multiple devices.

All in all, Diamond Red Browser feels like is still in the works. It’s got a lot to learn until it can compete with other powerful web browsers, like Firefox, Chrome and Opera.
