Elemental Browser is a lightweight application designed to offer an uncomplicated method to surf the Internet, listen to music, watch clips, chat with your friends and save favorite websites to a bookmark directory. It also offers plug-in support.

The advantage of being portable

The program is wrapped in a straightforward layout that includes navigational controls, history viewer, bookmark folder and plug-ins. It's recommended to have .NET Framework present on the drive for the tool to run without issues. Plus, the utility can be run without prior installation making it easier to be carried on a thumb drive.

Browse multiple pages in a secure session

The app lets you surf more than one website at a time, thanks to support for multiple tabs. It loads the videos and songs at a good speed and displays large navigational icons to help you switch between pages. It comes with a built-in pop-up blocker to stop untrusted sites from being opened and provides a quick search bar to easily look up words.

Save favorite webpages and delete the history

Elemental Browser lets you store important links into a bookmark folder, where outdated ones can be deleted at any given time. Plus, you have the option to view and clear the browsing history. Sadly, the utility doesn't come with an incognito mode to help you navigate the Internet while protecting your privacy.

Load and modify plain text files

From the "Settings" icon on the right side of the panel, you can open, read and TXT documents while browsing. It's possible to configure the printing settings, like page size (letter, A3, A4), orientation and margins. It would've been a nice addition if the tool let you customize the layout, choose predefined themes or zoom in and out.

Decent web browser

Taking everything into consideration, Elemental Browser is an intuitive piece of software designed to offer a fast browsing session to chat with your friends, watch videos or simply check your email. Due to its portability, the app doesn't create registry entries nor leaves traces after it's been removed.
