UAC Trust Pal is a tiny and portable Windows application that gives you the possibility to create a list with multiple programs which will automatically bypass User Account Control by giving them administrative rights by default. It comes loaded with just a couple of options that can be seamlessly handled by anyone.
No setup necessary
As there is no installation involved, you can drop the executable file in any part of the disk and just click it to launch UAC Trust Pal. An alternative is to save it to a USB flash drive to directly run it on any PC with minimum effort and no previous setups.
Clear-cut interface and settings
Made from a common-looking window that takes a straightforward approach, the utility lets you add a new program to the list by indicating a name, path and any other command-line arguments.You can specify as many apps as you want and easily remove any of them from the list if you change your mind afterward. Apart from the fact that you can check the Internet for software updates with only one click, there are no other noteworthy options provided by this piece of kit.
Evaluation and conclusion
We haven't encountered any stability issues throughout our evaluation, thanks to the fact that the tool didn't cause Windows to freeze, crash or display error dialogs. As expected, it left a small footprint on system resources.Although it doesn't come equipped with rich features and customization preferences, UAC Trust Pal delivers a fast and effective solution to giving administrative privileges to third-party programs so that they can skip User Account Control.
