The program took a while to calculate checksums in our tests. However, Windows Explorer becomes unresponsive to commands when the main window of Hash Helper is in focus.It used low CPU and RAM, so it didn't put a strain on the overall performance of the machine. No error dialogs popped up and it didn't trigger the OS to crash. All in all, this software utility facilitates a simple environment for discovering various kinds of file checksums.
