Simple setup and interface

The program doesn't come equipped with complicated features, so it can be handled even by users less experienced with such tools.The setup procedure is fast and doesn't need special attention, thanks to the fact that the wizard contains only familiar options. As far as the interface is concerned, Atory Password Generator adopts a small window with a plain and simple layout that shows all settings available.

Set rules to generate passwords

You can specify the password generation rules when it comes to its complexity, by including or excluding numbers, uppercase and lowercase letters, along with symbols. Moreover, you can specify the key length (number of characters).The new password is generated with the click of a button, and it can be automatically or manually copied to the Clipboard. Plus, you can disable the autocopy mode. Unfortunately, the tool doesn't integrate support for creating multiple passwords at the same time in order to save them to file, nor for customizing the letters and symbols. There are no other notable options available.

Evaluation and conclusion

As we expected, it didn't put a strain on the overall performance of the computer in our tests, thanks to the fact that it required a low amount of CPU and RAM to work properly. An error popped up at startup, which prevented us from running it on Windows 7.It seems that Atory Password Generator hasn't been updated for a very long time, and it doesn't support newer Windows editions. You can still use it on older OSes, though. It offers a straightforward solution for generating multipurpose strong passwords.
