The tool runs in the systray and shows a small frame on the top margin, revealing the local time. The main window can be brought up from the icon's right-click menu, where you can view the monitoring categories with startup entries and processes.Detailed information is displayed, such as the name, window title, full path, date and time, start time, along with the PC user of each running process.

Filter information and manage groups

It's possible to switch to any selected process, open its folder in your default file explorer, use a search function to track down a process, as well as filter information by user or group.New groups can be added to the list by specifying a group name, comments, type (simple or composite), action (show or hide records), along with process names, paths and window titles.

Control user permissions and configure settings

Furthermore, you can manage user permissions regarding the event type (e.g. date and time, Windows logon, process start) and reaction type (e.g. exit Windows, run process, freeze computer).StatWin Single Lite also implements a process manager that gives you the possibility to end currently running applications. It can be instructed to automatically start the monitor at Windows startup. You can consult a calendar, view daily stats and ratings, or hide the StatWin clock.

Evaluation and conclusion

It didn't put a strain on the machine's performance in our tests during the monitor's runtime, using low CPU and RAM.
