Note: This used to be the home of OpenVPN GUI which I developed and maintained between 2004-2006. Since then other people have continued the development and the GUI is now included in the mainstream OpenVPN Windows packagesOpenVPN GUI is a practical and effective VPN solution worth having when you need to handle multiple connections simultaneously and configure proxy settings with ease.By default, OpenVPN runs in a console window - however, by working with OpenVPN GUI, you are able to run the aforementioned application without actually accessing the console.

Control the program from the System Tray

Once you launch the utility for the first time, you will notice that it will be automatically redirected to the notification area from where you can easily change the proxy settings.The icon allows you to control OpenVPN the way you want. You can either start or stop the VPN tunnels, view the log file, as well as change your password according to your whims. Also, you are able to view connection details in the icon tooltip box.
