Polyglot 3000 is a simple-to-use and lightweight tool that can recognize a very wide range of languages, according to the text that you input. It can be easily handled, even by less experienced users.The interface of the application is uncomplicated and easy to navigate through. Once the text is written or imported via the file browser (TXT), you can make Polyglot 3000 detect it with the simple click of a button.Details can be checked out on the bottom part of the screen; these include the name of the language, recognition time and accuracy, along with other similar languages and the character size.Additional features of Polyglot 3000 let you change font settings (e.g. style, size, script), use some basic functions (undo, cut, copy, paste) and filter the language types (all, prominent or Cyrillic). Customization options revolve around the interface language, font size and color themes.The program supports keyboard shortcuts, has a good response time and uses a moderate amount of system resources. No error dialogs have been displayed in our tests and Polyglot 3000 did not freeze or crash. On the downside, Polyglot 3000 was inaccurate in several cases during our tests in regard to the recognized language (e.g. Lomwe instead of Japanese).Nevertheless, Polyglot 3000 can be a reliable piece of software in most cases when it comes to detecting unknown languages. Thanks to the intuitive layout, the tool's features can be easily comprehended.
