Fretboard Warrior makes the process fun by providing you with an entertaining application that can be used for learning how to correctly identify notes on the fretboard.The application requires Adobe Flash Player in order to run properly, but other than that, it is very easy to use. It runs as an interactive educational game that comes in handy to any rookie musician.Its main goal is to assist guitar students in memorizing the fretboard structure much easier. You can run rounds of 2, 5 or even 10 minutes, for those who are feeling like they should practice more.Once the 'Start' button is pressed, the countdown is initiated. Fretboard Warrior requires you to select the note that matches the dot displayed on the virtual fretboard.The number of wrong and right answers is remembered and dispalyed, allowing you to write down the result at the end of each session and compare it to previous ones in order to view how much your knowledge improved.The application starts by default in full screen mode, but you can switch to 'window' mode by pressing the 'ESC' key. The session can be reset or paused anytime you want to.Fretboard Warrior offers novice guitar players a memory exercise that enables them to learn the fretboard structure in a timely fashion. However, this is clearly not enough to master this musical instrument, as you must constantly practice, day by day, in order to enhance your skills.
