MemoZapper : Create flashcards to be able to learn new activities faster by also taking tests based on your creations with the help of this application
A computer is a lot more than just a powerful multimedia and entertainment station. Youngsters benefit from a wide variety of learning tools which can be a bit more efficient that how schools approach the entire situation. For instance, MemoZapper allows you to create flashcards and train yourself accordingly.
No built-in flashcards to get you up and running
On the bright side of things, the application is good to go from the moment download is done, saving you a great deal of effort otherwise invested in the steps of an installer. Note, however, that it requires Java Runtime Environment to function, which means it can run on other operating systems than Windows.Unfortunately, the application doesn’t come with any configured flashcard sets, so you need to invest some time and effort in creating one first. You can have them saved as sets to test other individuals. You’re even taken to the creation screen directly, and you can test out your sets by simply switching to the run tab.
Design simple question and answer sets
All questions you create get saved in a table, which can be saved. Column headers display questions, answers, as well as tier, which you can improve at the press of a button, ranking a question more difficult with each added tier.As far as the creation process is concerned, it’s fitted with a disappointing variety of features. You’re only able to provide one answer for a flash card, and there’ no possibility to add support of any kind, such as video, audio, or pictures. Even the test itself leaves much to be desired, with no score tracking to help you improve performance on the long run.
A few last words
Taking everything into consideration, we can state that MemoZapper is heavily underprepared to help you create neat flashcards. The lack of options to add support items is disappointing, and you can’t keep a record of tests to see how well you perform on the long run.
