For those who manage their own business, having to handle multiple areas that would normally be delegated out to other people can be normal. Stock Inventory is a program that allows users to create their own stock database and manage their inventory with ease, as well as monitor various transactions.

An easy-to-use interface that allows users to easily enter their entire stock into the application

Stock Inventory's interface is very easy to use, navigating the different areas is unnecessary as everything is clearly labeled and the majority of the information is stored on the first page. However, the system does work on an individual item basis, which means for users with a varied stock, each item needs to be entered individually. For stores with several hundred different items, that will take several hours to achieve.There is no way to bypass the individual stock system with any form of templates or importable stock lists. An import feature that works with existing Excel or CSV formats would save a massive amount of time in regards to setting up the application, the main area that requires improvement.

Various features that help improve the program's functionality and versatility

Stock Inventory offers a transaction system and an ID system built into the inventory tracker to try and provide the program more use and options. Each item added to the inventory is generated an ID number in sequence, which ties into the transaction system.The system still needs to be manually adjusted, Stock Inventory provides no synchronization with the register or barcode system. Updating each purchase into the system is not overly realistic and being able to synchronize the application to work with the register, or log purchases through the program as they happen, would greatly improve Stock Inventory.

A useful, but limited application that needs to be modernized and made compatible with retail tools

All in all, Stock Inventory is a relatively useful program that could save on paperwork, especially for businesses that still do a manual stock take on a regular basis. However, as more and more digital alternatives exist, as well as more advanced POS systems, Stock Inventory seems increasingly dated.
