The application doesn't take long to install and it doesn't come with a complicated setup that you would need to complete before you can actually use it.It's packed with many nice features and tools, together with some sections that would allow to easily organize exams, projects and assignments. It also lets you organize your social life and add all important events in a nice calendar.

Organize everything

The first thing that you need to do after launching the application is to add a term with a specific start and end date. At any point, you care able to edit Course and Term details, by clicking the Courses button.The next step is to add a Course. Courses are tied directly to a specific Term and are very customizable. You can specify details such as meeting time and location, Instructors, Textbooks and a Grading Scale.The more details you add for a Course, the more features of the program will be available for you. It comes with a separate section in which you can add grades for exams, quizzes, homework and more.

More features and tools

Assignments are tied directly to a Course. They have details such as due date and time, Textbook, Type, priority and grade. Events are not tied to any Course or Term, they can have a start and end time, they can be all day or repeating.Event Categories can be added and edited under the settings menu. Both Assignments and Events can be easily duplicated by clicking the Clone button. They can also be color-coded.It comes with lots of editing options, like features for changing the view type. You can add colors to certain assignments and adjust some filters.All in all, Get Organized is a very nice application that you could use in order to organize assignments and courses for school.
