Hospital Management System is a simple-to-use software application designed to help you create and manage a hospital database that contains valuable information about patients, departments, the staff, stores, medicine, and billing. It requires Microsoft SQL Server.

Basic interface and options

The tool is wrapped in a standard interface, represented by a large window with a clean and intuitive structure. Although it doesn't put too much emphasis on looks, it's easy to navigate.As previously mentioned, you can enter information regarding the department, staff, available stores, patients, medicine, and billing details.

Create and manage records

For instance, when it comes to the staff, you can indicate ID numbers, department names and posts, staff names, and salaries. As far as patients are concerned, you can specify the ID, person's name, address and other personal information, along with the ward number. Meanwhile, billing details revolve around the bill number, patient name, total and paid amount, along with balance.Evidently, all these entries are connected. The properties of each record can be edited anytime, or the entry can be eliminated from the database. What's more, Hospital Management System implement options for printing data for closer inspection and safekeeping.

Evaluation and conclusion

We haven't come across any stability issues in our tests, thanks to the fact that the application didn't hang, crash or prompt error dialogs. Its impact on the overall performance of the PC was minimal, as it needed low CPU and RAM to work properly.On the other hand, Hospital Management System is developed as just a basic database manager for hospitals, and it doesn't contain advanced customization options. We must also take into account that it hasn't been updated for a while. Plus, it's free.
