Noki Gems is a simple-to-use software program that lets you merge Nokia messages into a single file. It can be easily handled, even by users with little or no experience in software apps.After a brief and uneventful installation procedure that does not require any special input from the user, you are greeted by a small, regular window, where you can import files into the workspace using either the file browser or "drag and drop" function. Noki Gems supports backup files with the NBU, CSV and VMG formats.The file list shows the content, location, date and phone type for each message. Simply select which messages you want to merge (or all of them), and specify an output directory and filename, in order to proceed with the joining procedure. There are no other options or configurable parameters available through this app.Noki Gems is very light on the system resources, since it requires a minimal amount of CPU and memory. It has a good response time to commands and carries out a merging task rapidly, without hanging, crashing or showing error dialogs. We have not encountered any issues throughout our evaluation.On the other hand, the software utility offers limited functionality. But we must also take into account that Noki Gems has not been updated for a very long time.
