Needless to say that spending too much time with your eyes glued to the screen is harmful, and this is where applications like EveryDrink, reminding you to have a sip of water every now and then.
Various tooltips to help you out
You’re free to take the application wherever you go, so you can keep track of all drinks you have. However, in order for it to work on other computers, or even your own, you need to make sure that Adobe AIR is installed, because it’s a required component for functionality.The application starts off with an introduction screen, so you get an idea of what it does for you, and how it can be configured, there’s an additional help panel that shows up right before you get to business, including some tips to get you out of sticky situations.
Configure daily drinks, and view statistics
In order for things to be efficiently tracked, the settings menu gives you the possibility to configure working hours, which is merely an interval in which you consider you stay in front of the PC. This also helps the application split the total amount of drinks you plan to have a day to know exactly when to remind you.Depending mostly on the size of the glass you drink from, there’s a value field which needs to be filled in with the total number of drinks per day. It can even be set to zero for continuous, instant refill.Once options are applied, a neatly animated glass shows up, along with a timer, while drops slowly fill in the glass as time runs out. Sound alerts you when the glass is full, and clicking it counts as a drink, with a straw slowly drowning the glass.That’s not all the application has to offer. Additionally, your progress is tracked on a daily basis, with a corresponding graph which can be brought up to view a timeline, filling up with bars for number of drinks you have each day.

All in all, EveryDrink is a practical reminder that you should take at least a small break to hydrate yourself. It’s incredibly easy to configure, with all your progress tracked in a timeline. If not for the actual benefits of regularly having a glass of water, the application is sure to convince you at least through its cool animations and visuals.
