SAM : Steam Account Manager : Switch between multiple Steam accounts with a portable utility that saves all your login credentials and fills them in them automatically
It is not uncommon for one person to use multiple Steam accounts, and switching between them can be time-consuming. What’s more, users who share a computer with others need a quick way to log into their accounts without filling in their credentials every time.SAM - Steam Account Manager is a small, open-source application that can store multiple sets of credentials and log you into Steam with a single mouse click. Additionally, since it is portable, it allows you to take your account database with you wherever you go.
Store all your Steam account details in one place
To begin with, you need to enter all of your accounts. The application requires your user name, password and profile ID, and it will extract your profile icon automatically. You can also add a short description and have the program log you into this account at startup. It is important to note that your passwords are encrypted before they are saved, and all your information is stored in a data file in the root folder. You can also export the database and import it somewhere else if required.
Switch between multiple Steam accounts with a single mouse click
Once you have entered your information, SAM will display all your accounts in the main window, using the extracted profile icon as a tile image. Their layout can be customized from the application’s settings. In order to log into an account you only have to click its tile. The program will launch Stream automatically (if it is not already running) and fill in your credentials without requiring additional user input.
Can start with Windows and log you in instantly, but it cannot be sent to the system tray
If you have enabled this feature, the application can log you in with a selected account as soon as it is launched. To make things easier, you can also have it start with Windows automatically.Unfortunately, though, the program cannot be sent to the system tray, which means you have to keep it minimized in the taskbar if you wish to have quick access to your Steam accounts. In a nutshell, SAM - Steam Account Manager is a very useful application for users who need to juggle multiple Steam accounts, as it makes it much easier to switch between them. It is not as unobtrusive as we would have liked, however, as it cannot be minimized to the system tray.
