Eahoosoft Free CD Ripper is a small Windows application whose purpose is to help you rip audio CDs and export the tracks to various audio formats.

The tool reveals a simple design that has to offer only a few configuration settings. A help manual is not available but you can set up the entire process on your own because the dedicated parameters are easy to decode.

Ripping capabilities

Eahoosoft Free CD Ripper is able to automatically read the files from a CD and reveals a list with all of them directly in the main window. In addition, it offers information about each item, such as number, title, length, output format, and track status, and lets you pick the items that you want to process.You can save the audio files to different file formats, namely MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC, OGG, or APE. Other important options worth being mentioned enable you to refresh the list with tracks and rename each file individually.We have tested Eahoosoft Free CD Ripper on Windows 8.1 Pro and come across several bugs. The application is not able to process the tracks and complete the ripping task successfully. Plus, it cannot show the conversion window.On the downside, there’s no support for advanced features so you cannot alter ID3 tags, query an online website for grabbing information about files, normalize tracks, set the desired song length, adjust the bitrate, and listen to songs using an integrated player, just to name a few suggestions.

Needs improvements

All things considered, Eahoosoft Free CD Ripper disappoints in terms of functionality. It hasn’t benefitted from an updated for a while so you may bump into compatibility issues on newer operating systems.
