Naturally, some restrictions are applied to the input characters depending on the symbology you select, but the program provides explanations whenever necessary.You can also specify whether or not the text and border should be displayed in the generated barcode, as well as customize its height and width.Lastly, when you are pleased with the results, you can export the barcode to a JPG image file. Sadly, though, no other output formats are supported.

Unpolished user interface that needs to be improved in certain respects

The UI is very outdated, and it is not possible to resize the application window, which means that you need to scroll down after creating a barcode if you wish to perform the operation again.On the whole, this is a lightweight utility that allows you to access the web-based Free Barcode Generator from your desktop, without having to fire up your web browser. It supports few barcode symbologies, however, and it would benefit from a redesigned interface.
