It comes with lots of tools at hand and many features that you can check out.
Visually appealing graphical interface with plenty of features
The application doesn't take long to install and it doesn't come with a complicated setup that you would need to complete before you can actually use it. It sports a really nice graphical interface with all features at hand.The first thing that you need to do after launching it is to choose the analysis type that you would like to use.
Analyze your computer
You can select from three available modes, one that performs an analysis of your computer and automatically determines the release version. The second performs an analysis against a selected version and lets you pick the one that you would like.You can even scan your computer, but not analyze product versions. The scanning process doesn't take long to complete and you will get detailed information neatly arranged in a report.
More features and tools
It displays the path of unknown files, their version, file description, code page, size and the date in which they were created. You can view the summary report, view file, COM and registry details.Moreover, it displays the status of the scanning process and allows you to save reports on your computer. Files can only be saved in .xml format, it doesn't come with the option of saving them in any other type of file extension.Other than that, it doesn't really come with any complementary features. All in all, Component Checker is a good software solution for determining the installed version information and diagnosing installation issues, but it could use some more options.
