A closer look at InfoPad
Windows introduces a bunch of helpful features with each iterations, and some time ago, desktop sticky notes saw daylight. However, not everyone feels comfortable working with default tools, but there are tons of third-party alternatives. For instance, InfoPad comes as a simple replacement for the sticky notes tool. Since there’s no setup involved to make it work, the application is good to go from the moment download is done. As such, you’re free to try it as soon as it reaches your computer, but not only this, it’s also possible to carry it around on a thumb drive. Just make sure that the computer you use it on is fitted with Java Runtime Environment A sample note shows up on your desktop as soon as you launch the program, showing a welcome message and a few helpful hints to quickly get you started. You get to work in a single window instance, which can be resized to meet your demands, and placed anywhere on the desktop. Sadly, it can’t be made to stay on top of everything else.
