After having populated your ‘Patient Directory’, you can select an individual and start creating their periodontal charts, by clicking on the dedicated button. It automatically assigns it a date and time, then requires you to input the date of the X-ray you will be working with.By right-clicking on the targeted tooth, you can choose its precise state, for instance ‘Missing Teeth’, ‘Bridge Pontic’, ‘Implant’, ‘Root Canal Filling’, ‘Furcations’, ‘Sensitivity’, ‘Abrasion’, ‘Mobility’, ‘Caries’ and many others. Similarly, you can determine if it is a ‘Veneer’ or a ‘False Tooth’ and signal it as such. You can also input comments, if you feel you patient’s chart requires additional details.In addition, to make things simpler for you, Dens PC features keyboard shortcuts for each dental affliction, so you can add the dental information of your patients more easily, with just a few key presses. From the ‘Settings’ section, you can opt between ‘FDI’, ‘UNS’ or ‘Palmer’ teeth labels, having the possibility to add, edit or delete certain entries.
