Thinking2D is a handy tool packed with basic as well as advanced drawing tools for creating 2D designs.Surprisingly enough, this software utility does not require installation, meaning that you can easily copy the program files to any location on the HDD and even to a USB flash drive, or other similar portable storage unit. This enables you to run Thinking2D on any computer you have access to, just by double clicking the EXE file.It is also worth mentioning that the Windows registry and Start menu/screen are not going to get updated with new entries.The interface is simple and presents any user with the opportunity to make 2D CAD drawings without encountering issues. It can be customized, seeing that there are multiple bars which can be hidden or shown, the font, its style, size and color can be changed and toggling between multiple types of grids is possible.The application contain a number of basic options, such as lines, rectangles, ellipses, arcs, chords and pies. Lines can be concentric, measured or parallel. There are also a few options regarding pens. They can be solid, dash and dotted.The X and Y axis can be inverted, items can be copied to the Clipboard, text can be added, and zooming in and out is possible.This utility also enables users to create animations, by selecting when to start and end capture. Projects can be saved and opened in a 2D format.All in all, Thinking2D is an efficient 2D CAD software which uses minimal RAM and CPU. There were no errors, bugs or crashes revealed during our tests, and there are many tools incorporated, which will satisfy any type of individual.
