Simple and compact graphical interface

The application doesn't take long to install and it sports a really intuitive and compact graphical interface with multiple tools at hand. It gives you access to all sort of features from the toolbar at the top of the screen, but it doesn't come with any customization options.It has all sort of tips and instructions that you could use in order to calculate pressures in pipes.

Calculate hydraulics easily

You simply need to start drawing the piping network on the screen drawing area, you can input the required equipment data, including sizes, elevations, levels and fittings.It allows you to provide physical properties and conditions for every pipe, you can input properties manually or add base properties on that of another pipe. It allows you to import properties from a Hysys, Aspen or text file on your computer.You must make sure the number of specifications provided equals that required for all cases, before you run the hydraulic simulation. Results are displayed on the screen and can be saved to a file on your system.

Some additional tools and features

Korf can perform a heat and mole balance (HMB) and flash calculations to determine the stream composition, condition and physical properties in piping networks. You can rotate the drawing, set diameters for the pipe and flip the image easily.
