Unlike other off-the shelf mapping packages, Territory Mapper is designed to manipulate and map geographic areas that relate to specific business functions such as sales territories, franchise areas, distribution zones, or any other type of area. Other low-end off-the-shelf products attempt to address these needs but fall short in both ease-of-use and functionality. The higher end products address the application but in a round about way often requiring a lengthy learning curve and forcing the user to write programs or custom macros to perform simple tasks. Territory Mapper includes a very comprehensive map set that should serve the needs of most businesses. It is available in two Editions: a US Edition and an International Edition. Also now available for the US Edition is a very detailed US 5-digit ZIP Code map allowing very precise and detailed definitions of territories and other areas. Territory Mapper now also allows the import and export of territory definitions allowing users to integrate their work with other application programs or their web sites in the form of image maps, database queries, lead assignment or referral and other lookup functions.
