CADE Pro is a 2D vector graphic editor that helps you create different drawings from scratch (e.g. diagrams, network diagrams, flowcharts, schemas, maps) and perform conversions tasks.

User interface

The GUI looks a bit overwhelming and crowded at a first glance but this is only because the program comes packed with a comprehensive suite of tools.In order to make some room for the editing process, you may hide a multitude of toolbars from your view that incorporate elements used for drawing, editing and viewing.The Blocks panel that integrates all objects used from drawing can be taken out of the GUI and placed anywhere on your desktop.

Importing/exporting drawings

CADE Pro is able to read and process data from various file formats, such as DTC, DXF, DWG, DGN, GBR, SHP, and XAML. The drawings can be printed or saved to DXF, DWG, DGN, JPG, EMF, XAML, SHP or PDF file format.

Conversion capabilities

You can convert data between different file formats, such as DWG to DGN, DGN to DWG, DXF to DGN, DGN to DXF, DXF to ESRI, and ESRI to DXF. A batch import/export function is integrated for helping you convert multiple documents at the same time.It is worthy mentioning that the utility supports all essential AutoCAD and Microstation entities, such as primitive shapes, blocks/cells, layers/levels, colors, line type/weight, and hatch type/scale.

Editing and drawing tools

CADE Pro allows you to make use of several editing tools in order to undo or redo your actions and cut, copy, paste or delete the selected objects. Adding objects in the drawing environment requires drag-and-drop actions.The tool helps you embed various predefined items in the main window. They are grouped in categories, such as 3D map, dimension, electrics, flow chart, furniture, map, and network equipment.In addition, you can move objects using the drag-and-drop support, resize them by dragging their corners, bring items to the front or send them to the back, flip or rotate objects to different angles, as well as zoom in or out of the items.
