Support for basic operators, brackets and constants
It starts an instance of Command Prompt after installation, asking you to enter the arithmetic data. Calculations are made instantly, after which you can view results and continue with new expressions.The app offers support for the addition "+", subtraction "-", division "/" and multiplication "*" standard math operators. Moreover, it's capable of solving complex expressions involving parenthesis "()", square brackets "[]", curly brackets "{}", negative values, along with the "pi" and "e" natural constants. Typing "res" shows the previous result returned by the tool.
Evaluation and conclusion
It supports two interface languages (English and Portuguese), which can be launched from two separate executable files. We haven't experienced any stability issues in our evaluation, since it didn't hang or crash when entering unsupported characters. CPU and RAM consumption was minimal, so it didn't hog system resources.To sum it up, Advanced Arithmetic Calculator provides you with a simple command-line interface for making standard and complex mathematical calculations. It doesn't require previous experience with CLI tools, thanks to its straightforward approach. Unfortunately, it doesn't implement an option for saving the information to file.
