A workbook designed to run only under Excel 97 or 2000, that features a complete 'flexible' display of any loan up to a 3 year term on a daily basis. Daily Interest Monitor is a workbook designed for a singular specific purpose: Short-term loans. As such it may not have widespread applicability for an individual home user, other than managing a line of credit for such projects as building a new home, and also could prove invaluable to a business owner in projecting costs to prepare bids or extimates. Businesses, lending institutions, and homeowners might have the greatest use for this worksheet, just to monitor lines of credit and answer questions. In designing the original Loan Payoff Planner program, I visited several lending institutions for guidance. At one in particular, a loan officer of the largest banks in the country, had recently spent several hours manually designing and calculating an illustration for a business customer who needed to know the costs of a loan on a daily basis. This worksheet will perform the same task in seconds. In addition, it's main feature is the 'Flexibility' of providing for a regular amortized payback plan based on the number of days set up, or an alternative irregular payback plan with provision for individual - irregular payments or additional withdrawals, and monitoring any scenario.
