CNC or Computerized Numerical Control machines rely on a specific set of instructions to carve out the desired object. This is known as a G code, and there are various specialized applications out there which can read existing drawings and generate the necessary code, and Pro CNC Draw is a suitable example in this regard.

Edit DXF files or create new ones with various drawing tools

The application gets installed quickly, but your computer needs to be fitted with .NET Framework to properly function. You can start off from existing drawings or design your own ideas on the generous canvas. Import options allow you to load up DXF files, but also Gerber and DRILL. New designs can be exported to DXF as well, but you can also save the project as PCD.The drawing counterpart of the application allows you to create nearly anything that comes to mind. Straight or free lines, rectangles, circles, text, and even gears can be placed on the canvas. Array of drills can be configured and added either in a circular or rectangular form. Points can then be fine-tuned in terms of diameter, feed, pass, depth, and offset.

Configure Gerber settings, lathe, and generate the G code
