A closer look at PCalc
Dedicated to software developers, engineers and mathematicians, PCalc is a simple tool you can use to evaluate a wide range of expressions, such C/C++ functions and variables, measurement units, and math expressions. It doesn't require installation, so you can copy the downloaded files to a custom location on the disk and double-click the .exe to launch the utility. It doesn't make any modifications to the Windows registry and it's only necessary to delete its folder if you want to remove it from the computer. The interface is represented by a minimalistic window that doesn't contain any special graphical elements. Instead, the program focuses on functionality, giving you the possibility to type or paste the expression whose integrity you want to check. The downloaded package has several integrated functions identified by PCalc, which are wrapped in HTML file format. For example, the tool can delegate the type for the string:process(), array:process(), list::enumerate(), table::enumerate() and array::enumerate() methods, as well as return runtime exceptions. It has built-in classes for table, iterator, array, list, and string.A separate folder is dedicated to modules that contain scripts to load and compile by the application, and you can set up your own customized library with mathematical functions and constants.
