Split Chimeras is a lightweight and easy to use application that will enable users to easily correct contig data that was erroneously assembled. The program is able to handle NextGen sequences in FASTA format and split the sequences and remove dashes from them, if necessary. Split Chimeras also needs the coverage report file corresponding to the FASTA sequence file loaded in the main window.
