Interesting things tend to happen every day, but we usually don’t hold on to non-essential information for too long. If you keep a daily journal, however, you can save memories long after you would have forgotten them otherwise.Zero AM is an intuitive diary application that lets you write whatever seems important at the end of every day, preserving your memories for years to come. It could use some small improvements, but it is, on the whole, a well-designed piece of software.

Journal application that features a straightforward design

It shouldn’t take long for new users to get the hang of things, as the program’s UI layout is very intuitive. You can navigate through your journal using the controls at the top of the window, and each entry’s contents are displayed instantly.To find what you have written on a specific day, you can open the calendar or use the built-in search function. Tags are also available if you want to filter entries more easily, and they can be exported to PDF.

Simple text editor that supports hyperlinks and images

When it comes to writing your memos, there are quite a few formatting tools you can take advantage of. However, it doesn’t seem to be possible to increase or decrease the text size, and only one font is available.It is worth noting that you can also insert hyperlinks and images in your journal entries. Unfortunately, though, images cannot be resized once they are added, so you will need to make sure they are not too large before inserting them.One issue we came across is that the application seems to crash whenever you attempt to add new tags to an entry that already has some. This may not be a huge problem, but we still hope it will be fixed soon.

Intuitive diary app that still needs a bit of work

To sum up, Zero AM is very easy to use, and it sports a modern and novice-friendly UI design. It lacks some useful features, however, and it seems there are still a few bugs that need to be fixed.
