Free DocusTree is a feature-rich and intuitive application designed to offer an efficient way of organizing different documents, reminders, tasks, projects or webpages.Is recommended to install the app with care since it comes with third-party programs that you must prevent from being added to your PC. In order to work you need to have .NET Framework installed on the computer.

Work with various files using a simple interface

The tool is wrapped in an approachable and well-organized interface divided into a tree structure with nodes (folders) and children (subfolders), and a panel where you can see a more detailed view of the selected item. You can access documents by clicking on the corresponding node of the tree. It supports most standard formats, such as PDF, DOC, RTF, TXT, HTML or PPT, JPG, BMP, PNG.It comes with an existing documentation, which can be deleted or edited anytime so you can style the tree the way you want. You can add a new category from the menu, by giving it a name and content. It's possible to insert new or existing files, directories, websites, calendar notes and tasks.

Customize text and encrypt items

Free DocusTree lets you personalize the documents with formatting tools, like bold, italic, underline, font types and styles, colors, paragraph alignment, and bullet lists. Images can be inserted and resized to fit in the window.Unfortunately, there is no option to add the date and time, symbols, or hyperlinks directly in the records. It enables you to change the node background and text color and edit the item's information, such as author, title, subject, and keywords.Another useful feature is the encryption that lets you set a password for each directory, and ask for it when the program starts up. From the "Options" menu you can choose if the app runs at Windows startup, minimize it to the system tray, or save all files on exit.
