Editor2 is an approachable piece of software that comes in handy when you want to create and modify text files. It also features an auto-text function, where you can store the most important documents.

Write and edit numerous drafts

It's wrapped in a simple yet outdated interface, displaying the editing area and a toolbar that bundles the most useful functions. Thanks to its simplicity, the app can be used even by novices. Editor2 supports TXT and RTF files. You can easily open documents by browsing their location on the computer.

Personalize the content's appearance

From the options, you have the choice to change the text and background colors, and customize the text with other font types and sizes. Plus, the composition can be wrapped to the window.

Enter the text you want to access quickly

It's possible to convert the letters to uppercase and lowercase, search for particular words and increase or decrease the indent. The auto-text feature comes in handy when you have more than one important document or phrase that you want to automatically insert into another file.Each element can be inserted by pressing the Ctrl+ Shift+ 1,2,3 keyboard combination, then by entering a suitable name for the hotkey and the desired text or sentence.

Lack of other customization functions

Sadly, the app doesn't come with the options to insert pictures, symbols, special characters (e.g. dollar, euro, alpha, omega) bullet/number lists or page breaks. There is no choice to enter tables or create personalized styles that can be used on all text.
