JamesZhu OfficePack is a lightweight office solution that comes bundled with a simple web browser, a word processor, a mathematical calculator and time zone viewer.

Compose drafts, browse the Web and chat with colleagues

Make sure you have .NET Framework installed on the computer and updated to the newest version, as it's required for the utility to run. Once the setup is finished, the app displays a small window where you can access the functions with one click. The web browser adopts a clean yet unpolished layout with several navigational controls, while the word editor packs its features in a standard toolbar.

Surf your favorite sites and make calculations

The web browser offers the standard navigational buttons, such as back, forward, stop, refresh, search, and home. In addition, the currently viewed page can be saved as PDF and HTML files directly on the computer. From the menu, you can access the calculator, which lets you do simple calculations, along with math constants (Pi or e) and functions, such as logarithm, square root, sine, cosine, tangent, minimum, exponent.

Write your thoughts down using the small editor

Plus, you can check the date and time for several zones, such as Pacific, Eastern, Auckland, Hong Kong, Mexico or London. The word editor comes packed with basic functions, like font type, color, size, style, along with paragraph alignment. The supported file formats are TXT, RTF and HTML. In addition, you have the option to insert images (BMP, JPG) from the computer, and search for particular words.

Decent office suite

Taking everything into account, JamesZhu OfficePack is a useful office collection that consists of a word processor, basic web browser, built-in calculator and time zone table. During our testing, the program didn't face any issues, used little system resources, and the webpages loaded at a good speed.
