Friendly graphic interface

SwingTail is easy to work with thanks to the graphic interface that allows you to open several files at once. The tab display is suitable for opening and working with multiple files at the same time. Each header displays the name of the file, for quick identification and a play/pause button that enables/pauses the text analysis.The software also allows you to set bookmarks, on certain pieces of text or on the entire page, just as if you marked a webpage in your browser. All the bookmarks you create are displayed in the dedicated menu, sorted into custom groups. Moreover, aside from pages, you can also bookmark settings and load them at a later time.

User actions and preferences for the working space

The software allows you to customize the working space in any way you wish, by changing the font style and size or deciding how many lines should be read from the end of the files when opening them. Initial buffer, row buffer and polltime can also be customized.Filters can also be applied, in order to ease the tailing process. When a trigger is matched, the filter can mark the instance with a color, with a sound, hide it or pause the tail. You may easily activate or deactivate a filter, at any time, so you do not need to delete it. Moreover, you can create several groups in which to sort your bookmarks, for a quick identification and access.
