Skype History Viewer is an approachable piece of software that, as the name suggests, gives you the possibility to view your Skype chat history. It requires Skype installed and doesn't contain complex options or configuration parameters, so it can be handled with ease by anyone.

Simple installation and UI

Setting up Skype History Viewer is a speedy task that needs minimal user intervention. As far as the interface is concerned, it adopts a large window with a neatly organized structure, where it shows all options available.After picking the name of a Skype user who has logged on from your computer, you can choose a contact name to display the complete chat history for, or specify a start and end date to narrow down the chat log.

View and export chat history

We haven't come across any stability issues in our tests, thanks to the fact that the software application didn't hang, crash or prompt error messages. It didn't put a strain on the overall performance of the machine, since it needed low CPU and memory to work properly.On the other hand, Skype History Viewer comes loaded with just some basic options for viewing Skype history. Nevertheless, it gets the job done and it's free to use.
