The latest iteration of Windows comes with integrated PDF viewing capabilities, but editing the content of such a document can only be done using a dedicated tool. FlexiPDF Standard is one of the applications you can choose from to assist you in this regard.The standard edition of FlexiPDF is a stripped-out version of the Pro one, with certain features grayed-out. It encompasses basic editing options and document management tools that can assist you in creating new documents and modifying the content of existing PDFs.

A basic text editing toolset

With a simple interface that might remind you of a regular text editor, FlexiPDF Standard comes with a set of text processing options that allow you to change the font style, size, and alignment.You can create new documents with FlexiPDF Standard, but you can also attach new pages to existing files. Pages can be rotated, extracted, resized, and reordered. Furthermore, if you have a document that has been created using OCR, then you can use the OCR correction tool to help you spot mistakes.

Handle objects in your documents

The text editing toolset is accompanied by a few object management tools to help you select, resize, and move items (such as images inside the PDF). Additionally, you can arrange, align, and distribute them as you feel fit.FlexiPDF Standard also enables you to fill out print forms, crop areas you don't need or insert hyperlinks. Moreover, you can manage thumbnails, bookmarks, layers and comments in your document. Sticky notes, stamps, and scribbles can be embedded in the file.PDF files can be either attached to emails, saved locally or printed on paper. Unlike the Pro edition, FlexiPDF Standard does not allow you to create a PDF file out of a scan or a portfolio.

A PDF editor and viewer that's worth a try

FlexiPDF Standard has less features than its older brother, the Pro edition. It's best to try out both and, if you find out that some grayed-out option would serve you good, opt for the Pro. If not, stick to the Standard, as it is less expensive and offers pretty much the same cost.
