Moonphase is a fun tool designed for people who are passionate about the moon and its different phases. It is easy to install and configure, regardless of the user's experience level.The interface of the program is represented by a standard window with a simple layout. You can view the current phase of the moon, as well as the remaining days till the new moon, first quarter, full moon and last quarter.In addition, you can switch to a different time zone or manually set up the year, month and day to find out its moon phase, view the time of the sunrise, transit and sunset, moon rise, transit and moon set, together with the distance from the Earth to the moon.There is also a world map showed in the main frame, where clicking a location reveals its coordinates. Furthermore, you can enable summer time mode, view which days are good for fishing, minimize the program to the system tray area, change the starting day of the week, save settings, as well as make Moonphase start minimized.The simple-to-use application is low-demanding when it comes to resource consumption, has a good response time and works well, without causing the operating system to hang, crash or pop up error notifications. There are also helpful tips available. Although Moonphase has not been updated for a long time, it offers users must-have information on the moon's different phases.
