With all the activities that need to be performed on a daily basis, it’s pretty difficult to keep track of things that you must do, let alone events you simply want to remember as a cool memory. In this regard, DiaryPro comes with an intuitive set of controls with which to record everything in the form of text, with accompanying pictures.

Customize text style and color

The first time the application launches, you’re asked to set a master password so only you have access to these private notes. This step can’t be skipped, but you can change the password later on from the settings menu.On the visual side of things, you get to work in a simple environment. All text goes in a dedicated field, with the possibility to choose a different font, style, size, and color, to blend in with the current setting or mood.

Good, but far from being a pro

The current date is used as a header, and there’s also a clock to show you the time. In addition, you can load a custom picture directory to have all images shown in a slideshow. Sadly, the timer can’t be configured, and you need to change the folder each time for new pictures, because they aren’t directly linked to an entry.There’s also a built-in calendar to give you a better perspective over time. However, its core function is to calculate your age in years and days, and can’t be used to navigate through previous entries.Every note you add to the diary must be manually saved, otherwise automatically discarded on exit. They are manually identified by the date, which is part of the default name configuration. You need to open them yourself in the application, with no browser for quick selection, or through the calendar, which would have been a lot more flexible.

In conclusion

To be fair, it’s neat to keep track of all you go through on a daily basis, especially if you live an eventful life. DiaryPro helps you keep your thoughts and ideas in an organized environment, with a slideshow you can set for the current mood, or even pictures taken in that day. However, the general structure is rough, with hardly any link between elements, making navigation slightly difficult.
