Password Protect PDF Master7.1

Password Protect PDF Master is a program created for encrypting and decrypting your PDF documents. The user can take these actions by using random or custom access keys and selecting the output and encryption modes.

We would like to start by mentioning that more than one PDF files can be added at a time. The application offers four options as encryption modes, two output modes, a few choices for allowing usage of the file while encrypted and two keys of access: an Encryption Key and a PDF ID. The user has the possibility to select the output directory for the encrypted file.

Set page authentication details, watermark file, add block list and create reading password

Within the application, the authentication page details can be set, such as dialog title, password and encryption key password, and the reader can also give width and height dimensions for the page.Beside the possibility of encrypting PDF files, Password Protect PDF Master also watermark the document. There are two options for watermark locations, the left and top margin, but only numbers can be set.The program itself is created with the purpose of protecting PDF files so, beside encrypting and decrypting them, we should mention that there is a block list tab. The user can introduce a list of actions which won’t be permitted while that certain PDF document is read. More so, the user can set words for the reader to see, when suspicious activities are detected.Read time limits and password expiry dates can also be set by the customer. Within the first option, the user can specify the number of times the file can be read and, for the second, the expiry date. Beside these, while entering machine ID of the user’s computer and, optional, the watermark for when the file is read, a “Playback Password” is created.

Our thoughts

In conclusion, Password Protect PDF Master is an easy to use application with many options for encrypting the PDF files, thus making it safe when using personal data. It ran well during our tests, there are actions which can be permitted, more than one files can be added at once and passwords can be created.
