File Switcher is a plugin that complements the multi-tabbed support of Notepad++ by enabling you to switch between opened documents from a list. It features a search function that comes in handy for quickly locating docs when you have numerous files opened. To integrate the extension into the text editor, all you have to do is extract the DLL file from the downloaded package and copy it to the "plugins" directory of Notepad++. It doesn't matter whether you have the installer or portable edition of the word processor. If Notepad++ was already running before doing this, you have to restart it to commit modifications.
