GPA Calculator is a small and simple piece of software that comes in handy for high school and university students, as well as teachers to determine the total GPA score for all the finished class.
Can be launched from any PC
The utility comes only with an executable file that doesn't require any installation in order to run. This way, you can carry the app on an external drive and launch it on any computer. No additional third-party components are needed to work. There isn't much to say about the layout, as the tool displays a single window with ten course fields, along with a few buttons. Due to its simplicity, it can be used even by novices.
Enter the credit hours and grade for each class
All you have to do is fill in the course names, the credit hours (up to nine) and the received grade. Based on those details, GPA Calculator calculates the grade points, the total credit hours and the GPA.You can use the "Clear" but delete all the data and enter new parameters. The app lets you copy and paste the values into another document for further use.
No support to export the results
Sadly, the utility doesn't come with an export function to save the entire list to a TXT, RTF, CSV or XLS file, which would've been easier than copying each value at a time. Another downside is the inability to make the window and the font larger, as some users might find the small text frustrating.
Minimalistic GPA calculator
Taking everything into account, GPA Calculator is a basic program whose only purpose is to determine the total GPA grade for up to ten different courses based on the credit hours and exam grade. The lack of an export feature makes it hard to store all the results into a document, as you are forced to copy and paste each value at a time.
