In depth
A closer look at Skeduler
The better you manage your work and leisure time, the more chances there are for success. What’s more, the computer greatly helps you manage your activities, especially with all the applications that give you the possibility to set alarms with custom messages, just like Skeduler. When running the application for the first time, you’re prompted by a message which asks to configure the UTC time offset, because for whatever reason, the system time can’t automatically be detected and used. In case you don’t really know your timezone specifications, you might end up modifying values until the interface clock matches the system one. The main window is pretty compact, and is only used to display time, as well as any upcoming event you have in the scheduler. Most of its functions and setting are stored in a dedicated context menu, with options to change UTC offset again, whether to silent the alarm, start it minimized, have a message box popup, and test it out.
