XML+ is a lightweight software that will enable you to open Extensible Markup Language (XML) files and debug them on the spot.
Overview
XML+ is a handy tool that was designed in order to provide you with a means of loading and debugging XML files with minimal efforts. The program features a simple interface, with two panes, one for the XML code and the other for debugging the loaded Extensible Markup Language document.
How to use XML+
- First download the XML+ Zip file from the below link
- Extract the XML_Setup.zip to your Harddrive
- Click on the XML+_Setup.exe file and run the installation until it is finished
- The installation will ask you if you want to add XML+ shortcut.
- Now Click on the program shortcut
- To open an XML file go to File Menu then click on Open
- Select the desired XML file
- The Content of the XML file will be displayed in the left pane
- After the XML file is loaded click on the Debug Menu
- Click on Start Debugging
- Now the XML Data will be shown in the right pane
- You cannot save or edit the XML, you can just print it.
Why use XML Validator
An XML document with correct syntax is called "Well Formed". The process of checking a document written in XML (eXtensible Markup Language) to confirm that it is both well-formed and also "valid" is called XML validation.
Errors in XML documents will stop your XML applications.
There are two different document type definitions that can be used with XML:
DTD - The original Document Type Definition
XML Schema - An XML-based alternative to DTD
