Blue Cat's MB-5 Dynamix is a versatile multiband dynamics processor that can be employed in a wide variety of mixing projects. More precisely, the processor can act like a multiband compressor, waveshaper, limiter, gate expander or all of them simultaneously and in any part of the spectrum. The plugin features one of a kind envelope detection functions that will enable a single band to trigger the dynamics response on other ones like an internal side-chain. The unique dynamics processing section of the plug-in has been streamlined and integrated in this plug-in to process each one of the 5 bands separately. The utility comes with an interface where you can check exactly what is going on and what options are used. In addition, you can follow the steps for each channel, the in and out levels, compression ratio, the in and out of each band, the dynamic response or monitor the spectrum, just to name a few.
